Welcome to the Wineries of the Shuswap. The wineries located in the Shuswap region of British Columbia are among the most northern grape growing, wine producing areas in North America. The area is mostly known for Shuswap Lake, with 1000 km of shoreline stretched out like four arms of waterways between evergreen covered hills, and sandy and rocky shores. Now our region is becoming known for award-winning wines. Wine connoisseurs soon discover that our combination of climate, soil conditions and technique give unique character to our wines. Shuswap wineries are a must-experience for residents and visitors alike.
